Here are the books that we recommend for our lessons at Verellen Music Academy.

Each student is unique, and your teacher will recommend a specific book for you. Make sure to ask your teacher before you buy a book.

Some tips:
- The easiest way to buy a book is through Amazon.ca, most books are delivered to you in 1-3 days
- You can buy a book in person at "Long & Mcquade Music Shop" located at 1801 Walker Rd.
**Make sure to show them the link of the book you want to buy to avoid buying the wrong book.

Guitar Books
Typical guitar method books tend to be dry, boring and discouraging for students. Choosing the wrong method book is the #1 way to discourage a student and motivate them to quit.

We have created a helpful roadmap for you to make the right decision when choosing your guitar book. Make your decision based on the students personality, taste in music/genre, and personal goals.

Real-life applicable guitar skills. Learning rewarding (easier) material. Learn rock, pop songs (Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry, AC DC, etc.. ) Student will still learn basics of music theory & notes.
